The high speed production process of computer chip manufacturing, and the artisanal transformaties of sand in technological object is being presented via 3D animations within VR. This work visualizes the most important steps of NXP computer chip manufacturing via a rediscovering of its aesthetic values.
This VR can be experienced in a a sandbox filled with silica sand. Silica sand is the base material for making silicon, which is eventually transformed into computer chips.
